During this phase, our designers will work with the client to establish the design intent for the project. They will visit the site to get insights and hold discussions with our clients to define the goals and objectives for the project. Based on the information gathered, we will establish performance criteria, project standards, and goals for the quality of space. Our recommendations and observations will be summarized in a written program. We will propose an idea consistent with the client’s expectations as a sort of conceptual map of all that the project would look like on completion which includes:
a. Furniture Layout
c. Reference Images
This is a Schematic Design phase, where we include the client’s feedback and proceed to finalize the layout. We will also make preliminary FF&E selections and present procurement options with a cost estimate. Once the client is comfortable with a design direction, the schematic documents will be developed that would include a 3D View, product data, illustrations, information on specially designed FF&E items, and an updated estimate for the cost of the work.
During the execution phase, we diligently follow through with each undertaking to ensure a successful outcome. We will make periodic visits to the site to keep our client apprised of the general progress and to confirm that the FF&E items conform with the project’s design intent. We will also coordinate schedules for fabrication, delivery, and installation of the FF&E. Finally, when the work is complete, and before handing over we will perform a thorough inspection to confirm that it reinforces the design intent of the space.
